Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 12, 2026
ACME LIVE SCAN & NOTARY ("ACME," "we," "us," or "our") operates the acmenotary.com website and related booking, customer-service, and ChatGPT/MCP integration services (collectively, the "Service").
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you when you use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Depending on the service you request, we may collect:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Requested service type
- Requested appointment date and time
- Appointment or service address for mobile services
- Document or service details you choose to provide
- Number of signers or applicants, when relevant
- Appointment notes or other information you voluntarily provide
- Authentication and connection information needed to use connected services
ChatGPT and MCP Integration Data
If you use the ACME LIVE SCAN & NOTARY integration through ChatGPT or another Model Context Protocol ("MCP") compatible service, information needed to perform your request may be transmitted from that service to ACME. This can include portions of your request that are necessary to identify a service, check availability, collect required booking information, or create an appointment.
We request only information reasonably necessary to provide the functionality you ask us to perform. You can disconnect the ACME integration through the platform where you connected it.
Usage and Technical Data
We may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages or features used, dates and times of access, diagnostic data, and similar usage information.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use session, preference, security, analytics, and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- Identify the ACME service you request
- Check real-time appointment availability
- Create and manage appointment reservations
- Communicate appointment confirmations, reminders, payment instructions, and status updates
- Provide customer support
- Prevent duplicate, fraudulent, unauthorized, or abusive activity
- Maintain security, diagnose technical issues, and monitor system performance
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
- Send marketing communications where permitted by law and subject to your opt-out rights
3. Appointment Reservations and Payment
Certain services require a deposit or other payment. The ACME ChatGPT/MCP integration does not request or process payment-card numbers through ChatGPT. When payment is required, ACME may provide a secure payment link that directs you to a payment page operated by ACME and/or a payment service provider.
A payment-required appointment may initially be created with a status such as "New" or "Unpaid." Unpaid reservations are temporary. Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, an unpaid reservation may be canceled and the appointment time released after approximately 30 minutes.
4. SMS, Email, and Other Communications
If you provide a phone number or email address in connection with a booking, we may use it to send transactional communications such as confirmations, reminders, payment instructions, changes, and service-related notices. Message and data rates may apply to SMS messages.
5. How We Share Information
We may disclose information to service providers and vendors that help us operate the Service, including providers of authentication, appointment scheduling and CRM, hosting, communications, payment processing, analytics, security, and related business services.
These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to ACME and subject to their applicable contractual and legal obligations.
Our technology providers may include services such as Auth0 for authentication and HighLevel for customer and appointment workflow management. Payment and communication providers may also receive information necessary to complete those specific functions.
Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose information where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or legal process
- Protect the rights, property, safety, or security of ACME, our customers, or others
- Detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or other wrongdoing
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
Business Transfers
If ACME is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect against fraud or abuse. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed.

If our practices change in a way that creates additional legal obligations, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required notices or choices.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers
ACME is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Data protection laws in those locations may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
11. Third-Party Services and Links

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes may also be communicated through other reasonable means when required by law.
